In this video cheat sheet, I will be configuring an eBGP peer. I will start off with the baseline show commands, "show ip bgp summary" and “show IP BGP" to display general information about BGP routing processes. Then I am going to enable a debug command of “debug IP bgp events" to see how things unfold as I configure an eBGP peer. Finish with the same baseline command, "show ip bgp summary" and “show IP BGP", to see what changed.
